After earning my bachelor’s degree in 2021 in Art History, Archaeology, and History at Université Lumière Lyon II, I joined the University of Neuchâtel to pursue a master’s in Historical Sciences, which allowed me to maintain an interdisciplinary approach.
During this master’s program, I developed a deep interest in medieval studies, particularly the 15th century. I dedicated my master’s thesis to an iconographic study of heralds in 15th-century French manuscripts, a subject that fueled my curiosity for manuscripts—a field that has long fascinated me. After obtaining my master’s degree and gaining some experience in museums, I had the opportunity to join this research team by working on a PhD focused on illuminated and literary portraits in 15th-century Burgundian manuscripts. This research will be grounded in methodological approaches related to manuscripts and their conception.
