In September 2024, I graduated with my master’s degree in Historical Sciences at the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland) with a specialization in medieval history and a minor in French Historical Linguistics and Philology. I defended my master’s thesis entitled “The inventories of the joyaulx of Béatrice de Portugal (1522 et 1530)”.
Alongside my studies, I have completed an internship at Valangin’s Castle and Museum, which gave me the opportunity to work on the 2024 temporary exhibition “the feminine Valangin – 3 women, 3 lives, 3 centuries”, for which I performed various tasks: archival research; biographic and documentary research; paleographic transcription of 16th Century documents; and inventory work. In October 2024, I joined the University of Neuchâtel as a FNS PhD student within the Sinergia project entitled: “Capturing the Present in Northwestern Europe (1348-1648): A Cultural History of Present Before the Age of Presentism”, in which I conduct a research on the concept of time in Ego-documents from the end of the Middle Ages and the early Modern period.
