In 2024, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Arts and Humanities from the University of Neuchâtel, with a focus on History, English Language and Literature, and Psychology. During this program, I developed a particular interest in power dynamics inherent to gender relations and colonial history. Using this lens, I completed seminar works on the witches’ Sabbath in the Western Alpine Arc in the 15th century, the role of women in Swiss Christian missions between the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and on the imperial significance of colonial botanical gardens at the end of the 18th century.
I am currently continuing my studies with a master’s degree in Historical Sciences at the University of Neuchâtel, completed by a minor in Dramaturgy and Theater History.
Alongside my studies, I work as a guide at the Neuchâtel Castle, where I conduct historical tours in German, English, and French. Following a seminar dedicated to Switzerland’s colonial history, I also collaborate as a guide for the “Neuchâtel Colonial Imprints” tour. This educational project, written by Professor Matthieu Gillabert, aims to shed light on the city’s colonial past.
From October 2024 until August 2025, I have worked as an FNS student assistant for Professor Thalia Brero as part of the Sinergia project Capturing the Present . My role within the team included being the webmaster for the Hypotheses website as well as managing the project’s communication more generally.
